Sony has introduced its latest WF-1000XM5 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds in India, featuring prominent features such as active noise cancellation and improved audio quality. Importantly, the company claims substantial enhancements in call quality with this release.
Available at the price of Rs 24,990, the Sony WF-1000XM5 is now accessible in both Black and Platinum color choices. Indian customers can place pre-orders for these earbuds until October 15 through Sony Center stores and major online and offline retailers.
As part of promotional offers, purchasers can avail themselves of an immediate discount of Rs 3,000 when using specified bank cards, and they will also receive a complimentary SRS-XB100 speaker.
The Sony WF-1000XM5 TWS earbuds feature three microphones on each earpiece, including feedback microphones, contributing to improved noise cancellation capabilities, especially in suppressing low-frequency sounds. These earbuds, powered by the V2 chipset and a QN2e noise-cancellation processor, boast the new Dynamic Driver X for superior lower-frequency performance. They support high-resolution audio via LDAC and offer an immersive 360 Reality Audio experience, complemented by a head-tracking feature. Furthermore, users can manage calls through intuitive head gestures.
These Sony earbuds hold an IPX4 rating for water resistance. In terms of battery life, they provide up to 8 hours of playback, with the company claiming an impressive one hour of playback with just three minutes of charging. They also offer convenient features like Pair and Swift Pair, allowing users to connect two devices simultaneously.
